How heavy is the shower head? Can it be supported on a sixteen inch extension from the 1/2 inch wall pipe

The weight after packaging of this shower head is about 2.8 kg. Since I don\'t clearly know the shower arm/rod you have clearly, i.e quality, material etc, but for the shower arm on our website, this shower head can work with our 16 inches wall mounted shower arm.
